Welcome!
Creating a safe therapeutic relationship is central to our work together. I believe that when we feel supported and safe, healing and growth become possible. I have a passion for working with children, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming,
I use a variety of modalities to treat mood disorders and trauma, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and other frameworks (i.e. polyvagal theory, CBT). Before owning my own practice, I worked with a group practice in Ann Arbor and a community mental health center in western Wayne County. I also have experience working in a primary care office, inpatient settings, long-term day treatment programs, and HIV/AIDS case management.
I am a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) and earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan. I earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Valparaiso University, and minored in Child Development and Literature.
